Financing

Mayo Ag Services offers financing options designed to meet the short-term and extended-term needs of our customers. Depending on the requested payment terms and credit qualifications, financing may be provided through a Mayo Ag Services in-house charge account or through one of our approved third-party financing providers.

Our Credit Department can help customers understand the available options and identify the application that best fits their needs.

In-house Charge Accounts

Mayo Ag Services may offer an open charge account with an established credit limit to qualifying customers. Approval is based on satisfactory financial information, banking and trade references, credit history, and other relevant information.

Standard in-house charge accounts are generally intended for payment terms of 30 days or less. All account approvals, credit limits, and payment terms are established at the sole discretion of Mayo Ag Services and may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.

Extended-term Financing

Customers who need payment terms longer than 30 days will generally be encouraged to apply through one of our approved third-party financing providers.

Available programs, interest rates, promotional offers, payment terms, and credit decisions are determined by each financing provider. Program availability may vary based on the products purchased, the applicable financing program, and the applicant’s qualifications.

If third-party financing is unavailable or is not a suitable option, Mayo Ag Services may consider providing extended in-house terms. Extended terms include any payment arrangement longer than 30 days, up to and including full crop terms.

Approval of extended in-house terms will require, at minimum, a properly completed and signed Mayo Ag Services Credit Application. Current financial statements and other supporting information may also be required.

Credit Application Requirements

All new credit accounts require a completed Credit Application from the primary individual or business entity that will be responsible for the account.

When the applicant is a business entity, at least one principal owner must also complete and sign the applicable individual credit, guaranty, and authorization documents.

A clear and legible copy of a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, must be provided for each individual signing the application or personal guaranty.

Additional information, including financial statements, banking references, trade references, or other supporting documents, may be requested as part of the credit-review process.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. All credit accounts, credit limits, and payment terms are subject to review and approval by Mayo Ag Services. Incomplete applications or missing identification may delay the review process.

Delinquent Accounts

Any delinquent account may be changed to Cash on Delivery (COD) status.

Before credit privileges can be restored, the account must be brought current. Mayo Ag Services may also require an updated Credit Application and a new credit evaluation before restoring credit terms.
